25 October 2009 fall yard and garden pics
The neighbor has used almost all of our corn stalks for the cow in his back yard. We mentioned earlier that 1/2 of our corn turned out to be field corn and was not edible.
The tiny dill plants are coming up all over the garden
Dill seeds are mature
Notice that the fennel plant is surviving nicely through the frost season - no below freezing temps yet.
The swiss chard keeps growing and growing.
Maple and peach trees lost most of their leaves this week
I like birch leaves. They don't make as big a pile to clean up as the mapel trees.
